M.S. Clinical Mental Health Counseling

As a ClinCloud team member, Sarah is a clinical rater and a mental health provider. She earned an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University and is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. She earned a Master of Liberal Studies degree from Rollins College and holds an active Florida teaching certificate, having taught high school English for 30 years.  Her B.A. in English is from Stetson University.

 

In addition to working with ClinCloud patients, Sarah has a private practice, counseling clients on a fee-for-service basis. Her clinical practice is focused on caregiver stress, anxiety, and mourning work.  She enjoys helping individuals and groups and facilitates scriptotherapy and bibliotherapy for interested clients.

Treatment Philosophy

​

Sarah incorporates a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities with her clients.  Her professional practices include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Adlerian and Existential techniques.  Her over-arching goals are to help her clients discover their strengths, gain personal insight, and practice strategies designed to relieve anxiety and stress.
